Circle of Life is a work that encapsulates the history, tradition, and future of Athleague. Standing at 2.4 meters tall, this sculpture tells a story where each element symbolizes a distinct aspect of Athleague’s rich heritage and promising future. The Rover Suck is depicted through the gently flowing curves of apertures along the sculpture's edge. The Mill is represented by two coral-colored disks, mirroring the park's layout. The La Tene Granite boulder signifies the Ls Tene Stone from Castlestrange. The solid block of Ash timber reflects the "clash of the ash" and the deep-rooted traditions of Hurling in Athleague. The famine walkway is represented by a linear horizontal void. The vertical steel element symbolizes the backbone of the community, connecting and uniting the various components as it rises through the sculpture. This abstract sculpture style embodies a bright and creative future for Athleague.

Townlands 106 is an impactful contemporary sculpture that captures the energy of the community while celebrating the history of its location.

The sculpture is a contemporary reinterpretation of Irelands ancient standing stones.  Standing stones were places where communities gathered to celebrate social events and mark lunar festivals.

Ireland is patchwork of over 60,000 individual townlands.  These Townlands create a powerful sense of place and history for the population of Ireland.  Each townland is a unique community.

The sculpture is Located in the Townland of Holywoodrath at Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15.  Hollywoodrath is one of the 106 townlands within the Barony of Castleknock that historically covered much of the Dublin 15 Area.

The sculpture continues 106 individual  coloured recessed panels that come together to create a historical narrative.
